Nickel

Nickel is one of only four elements that are magnetic at or near room temperature. It belongs to the transition metals and is hard and ductile. Nickel is used in many industrial and consumer products, including stainless steel, magnets, coinage, rechargeable batteries, electric guitar strings and special alloys.
